Community

At Rhodes Green CE Primary School, we are proud to be at the heart of our community. We believe that a great school is about much more than what happens within the classroom – it is about the relationships we build with our children, families and the wider community around us.

As we begin our new chapter as Rhodes Green, strengthening these connections is an important part of the school we are building. We want our families to feel welcomed, involved and proud to belong to our school community.

Throughout the year, we look for opportunities to bring people together through celebrations, events, partnerships, visitors and experiences, while helping our children understand the importance of contributing positively to the community in which they live.

Our Christian vision to “shine as stars in the world” encourages us to look beyond ourselves, showing kindness, compassion and service to others. Alongside our DREAM Values, this helps children understand that they each have the power to make a positive difference.

We also value the expertise and support of the organisations, churches, services and community partners who work alongside us to enrich opportunities for our children and families.

Rhodes Green may be a new name, but our roots within our community run deep. This new chapter belongs to all of us, and we are excited to continue building a school that our children, families and community can be truly proud of.
