Welcome to Willow Class, where our Year 3 children begin an exciting new stage of their learning journey as they move into Key Stage 2.

In Willow Class, we encourage children to become increasingly independent, confident and curious learners. Children are supported to take greater responsibility for their learning, challenge themselves and recognise that mistakes are an important part of growing and improving.

Throughout Year 3, children continue to strengthen the essential foundations of reading, writing and mathematics, while exploring an exciting wider curriculum that encourages them to question, investigate, create and discover.

Our DREAM Values are an important part of life in Willow Class. Children are encouraged to show Determination when things feel challenging, Respect and Empathy towards others, Aspiration in their goals and strong Morals in the choices they make.

Alongside classroom learning, children enjoy opportunities to learn beyond the classroom, develop friendships, discover new interests and begin to recognise their own individual strengths and talents.

We want every child in Willow Class to feel proud of themselves, confident enough to have a go and excited about everything they are capable of achieving.

Like the willow tree, we learn to be strong, flexible and resilient as we continue to grow.
