SIAMS

As a Church of England school, our Christian vision and values are at the heart of life at Rhodes Green CE Primary School.

Our vision, “Shine as stars in the world” (Philippians 2:15), reflects our belief that every child is unique, valued and capable of making a positive difference. Through our DREAM Values of Determination, Respect, Empathy, Aspiration and Morals, we aim to create a community where children and adults are supported to flourish.

Church of England schools are inspected through SIAMS – the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. SIAMS considers how effectively a school’s Christian vision enables pupils and adults to flourish. It explores the impact of the school’s vision and values across areas including collective worship, religious education, curriculum, leadership and the wider life of the school.

At Rhodes Green, our Christian character is about much more than what happens during worship. It can be seen in the relationships we build, the way we care for one another, the opportunities we provide and our commitment to ensuring that everyone feels that they belong.

As we begin our new chapter as Rhodes Green, we are excited to continue developing our Christian distinctiveness and strengthening the ways in which our vision is lived out every day.
