At Rhodes Green CE Primary School, keeping children safe and ensuring every child feels that they belong is at the heart of everything we do.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where children feel secure, listened to and confident that there are trusted adults who will help them if they are worried about anything.
Alongside physical safety, we teach children the knowledge and skills they need to keep themselves safe, both now and as they grow. This is embedded throughout school life and strengthened through our PSHCE and Cranmer Education Trust Safeguarding Curriculum.
Inclusion is equally central to our approach. We recognise that every child is unique and that some children will need additional or different support at different points in their journey. We work closely with children, families and professionals to identify barriers, understand individual needs and provide the right support, while maintaining high expectations for every pupil.
Our inclusive provision includes targeted interventions, SEND support, pastoral and SEMH provision, The Hive, The Bridge and Forest School, alongside adaptations within the classroom.
Above all, we want Rhodes Green to be a school where children are known, understood, valued and safe.
Within this section, you can find further information about our safeguarding arrangements, SEND and inclusion provision, pastoral support and the ways we work with families to ensure every Rhodes Green child has the opportunity to shine as stars in the world.
