The school day
At Rhodes Green CE Primary School, we believe that every school day should begin calmly and positively, giving children the best possible start to their learning.
Our school gates open at 8:35am, allowing children time to arrive, greet their friends and make their way into school ready for the day ahead. The gates close promptly at 8:45am, when learning begins. We ask all families to ensure children arrive on time each day, as punctuality is an important part of establishing positive routines and helps children make the most of every learning opportunity.
The school day finishes at 3:15pm, when children are collected from their designated collection points.
School Day
- 8:35am – School gates open
- 8:45am – Gates close and learning begins
- 3:15pm – End of the school day
If your child is attending Breakfast Club, they may arrive from 7:45am. Children attending After School Club can remain in school until 4:00pm (pre-booking required).
If your child is going to be absent or arriving late due to an appointment, please inform the school office as soon as possible. By working together, we can ensure every child enjoys a positive, settled start to each school day and makes the very best progress.
